Achievement: Romantic Relationship

I am not understanding how to do this achievement, is there anyone specific you have to be with in your party or is it something about the cutscene with eugene and sunny?

When you get to 5 Hearts with a Non-Barking party member, you're given an opportunity to suggest that it's a date. Later on when resting with that party member, you'll be given the opportunity to start a relationship with them (The option is in pink to really highlight this).

Start a relationship to get the 'Chivo, if you friend zoned all your partners, you'll need to start another file to get it.

I've tried it myself and nothing happened. I've tried with Felix and chose the 'you could ask me out on a date' or something along that line and kept going with it and didn't get it. Than I tried with Eugene, did the same and he said this would be a date and nothing happened still. So, not sure what's up.

You have to rest with them a few times at the cafe to get the option to make it official after you choose the romantic option in their max relationship scene.

Doesn't have to be the cafe. I got the prompt while camping with Kayleigh.

Hi there - this has been a reported issue which we have fixed in the 1.1.2 patch, and will retroactively unlock that achievement for you.

Not sure why I'm not getting this. Just maxxed everyone and did Viola's event, hinted at it being a date, and rested at the cafe 30+ times but it just keeps saying the same dialogue over and over.

Edit: Tried this with other characters that I also "dated" but they aren't saying anything special either.

You need to keep doing fights and the like, not just resting. The romance option acts like a hidden 6th heart, you need to do stuff with them a bit first before you'll get given the option.

Thanks for the help, doing a couple rogue fusions worked.
