Defeating Morgante

Stumped on how to defeat her, Coda Morgana (or whatever) is pretty much an insta-kill, assume I'm missing something or I need an item in order to not just instantly get vaporized.

Set up walls ! A lot of people ignore or misunderstand the wall mechanics, but getting (in most cases) three whole nullified hits in exchange for just 20% of your life is a VERY good deal, and walls work on like 98% of attacks (the only ones that bypass walls are VERY specific and rare, and I don't think any archangel has one of those).

I completely forgot about that to be honest, I kind of just bulldozed most of the bosses, thanks!

The Archangel "ultimate attacks" such as Coda Morgana seem to be coded to remove all of your walls if they hit them, but you will still be protected from the hit, it just means you have to get new walls up before each ultimate instead of just building up a giant stack and hiding behind them for the entire fight.

If you have a monster with echolocation or some other move that grants multitarget, you can set up walls for both party members at the same time. Multitarget also works great with healing and other support moves in boss fights.

I accidently run into the quest with that OP headshot strategy I was told about to farm faster. Otherwise had only trash with me and not my real team.
Thankfully and kinda saldy that bug make short work out of Mogante

It's not even a bug, just a poorly-thought-out ability being applied correctly.

Sorry I meant bug creature, honestly that one last oil or whatever physical and that shield attack appear to be the strongest one kinda. I think the names in english and germany aren't the same and I don't want to look it up.

Ah, you meant "bug" as in Khepri being a scarab, not "bug" as in something not working properly. (It should be the same in all languages considering it's directly named after its mythological inspiration rather than being a pun.)

Give them both headshot

Fill the rest of the slots with random starter

Also go the gym and max your ranged attack for even faster archangel farming.

Works for all the angels except for the puppet at Gloucester station. I use this setup to farm fusion shards.

Kills most lvl 200 archangels in 1-3 hits

Or just use bootlegs. There really isn't any reaction that hard-counters multi-Headshot other then Fire > Air.

Personally, my second is a Miss Mimic with Last Rites. Khepri doesn't appear on the overworld so finding bootlegs of it is comparatively hard.

I use the wall strategy to fight against her. But I don't why the build wall move fails. The first time she use Coda Morgana I make a wall and protect me from death. But later when I make wall it just keep failing. I don't have status on me and I suppose make wall should always success right? Any hidden mechanism that prevent me from making wall?

If you're below 20% health, walls fail. They require that much to be made, and if you're at less, it fails rather than doing anything
