There is also a rumor on the cementery that makes you figth a ghost child that also has the infinite ghost status. that one I just spammed Inflame a wallled him out. Status attacks ( no damage) still affect ghosts.
First off, i think the ghost trainer is unrelated, it's just an (admittedly cool) gimmick fight at night in the cemetary.
As for the ghost doppleganger, i've seen it :
-In front of that one long cave you open with a button in the Park
-On a ledge in the Marshes, close to the Landkeeper HQ
-I believe on Mt Wirral ? I might have that wrong, but i definitely saw it somewhere else at least once.
Also note that two of these, I saw after RETURNING to these places, so this is not a one-and-done event, it really DOES spawn randomly. Dashing at it at full speed does nothing.
Just spotted it on Mt Wirral on the spot where you have to climb back and forth - on the ledge that sticks out a bit. You're not crazy - or maybe we all are.
Is this the only way to deal with ghostly enemies?
As a third option, Ghosted units can hit other ghosted units.
likewise. never got to fight em, just saw it out of the corner of my eye thinking i was nutty.
"hey kiddo"
