Finding Monster #120

So according to the official wiki, the final entry in the Bestiary is a beast-style tape called Anathema, it looks like a Frankensteined chimera of several other monsters but isn't a fusion. So where or how does one go about finding it? Is it a quest or a rumor? Is it in a specific location or a random encounter? Or is it a fused material trade item like the two starter tapes?

You can find it after becoming a ranger captain and advancing the board.

And you'll have plenty of opportunities to record it through board quests, so don't worry if you kill the first one before recording it.

Where did y'all find Miss Mimic? Only got that one left(does it have to do with the lake? Got one ??? left but idk what to do, bottom of the lake on the small island with a one tile grass plot).

Miss Mimic can be found via rumors, they'll mention a talking a chest, you'll know it's the right one when a chest talks to you and asks you to open it.

You can find it via rumours, or by checking out the monster icons on the map once you have the fusion radar. Anything that's listed as an unknown source on the map rather than directly saying it's a fusion monster or monster swarm can be one of the one-off monsters, including Miss Mimic.

Never had a rumor for it so far while being pretty adamant in getting them, well, praying to the RNGods I go.

Well, turns out my Miss Mimic is supposed to be at Mt. Wirral in the same tile as the station... But there's no caches to be found there except for the one in the caves that's already opened, & the opened one in the station?

There's a chest at the mouth of the river outside on the mountain, there's a little inlet there that flips your camera around and puts you on the station tile.

Salamagus can be found in the caves of Autumn hill or Lakeside.

Apparently he's in the Autum Hills caves but I have over 100 encounters in these caves without seeing a single one.

The rumor says he's inside the station but I could never find him either. I THINK a Rogue Fusion is preventing him from spawning but guess what, I couldn't find that Rogue Fusion either! It's driving me insane.

Salamagus isn't one of the special encounters, it's a random one. It's rare, I believe, so it can take a bit to get one.

Salamagus isn't one of the special encounters, it's a random one. It's rare, I believe, so it can take a bit to get one.

What I mean is that when a Rogue Fusion appears, all surrounding mons disappear until you clear it, right (I'm nearing endgame)? I realized that Salamagus is probably a normal encounter and so I tried to locate the Rogue Fusion and clear it so the mons will respawn. The problem is I can't find it! Like uuuuuuuuugh.

I'm pretty sure that's not the case. I've found a rogue fusion that was surrounded by normal monsters before, I actually had trouble getting near it in order to fight it.
