Speed up option for battles?

Hey, enjoying the game so far but the slow animation speed is kind of a killer, watching smack for the 100th time can be a bit boring.
Are there any future plans for a skip animation or speed up feature? Thanks for any feedback.

Honestly this and the weird sprint stamina are the only things that are keeping me from buying this game. I think any modern turn based game should have the battle fast forward option.

I do think this should be a standard quality of life feature, though the game is pretty good in terms of QOL in general. The other things it lacks (for my taste) are instant dialogue without having to press a button and potentially skip the line if it's short and a different button for "advance dialogue" and for "select response".

Small complaints aside I don't think anything should hold anyone back from buying this game, it's utterly brilliant.

Yeah the other post for the auto-battle feature I don't quite like but this would be nice.

Hi, I love the game but yes, a speed up option during the battles would be fantastic. It is quite slow and at times tedious. Congrats for a huge success so far with the game, you all deserve it 👍

+1, speed up battle animations and remove stamina from sprinting / increase world map speed would go a long way to making this game more fun

Not sure why folks are bumping this ancient thread, but the Quality of Life mod includes functionality/a menu option to disable in-battle animations: https://github.com/Yukitty/CassetteBeasts-qol

I shouldnt need a mod for the game to be at a playable speed, im tired of the smack animation and im 10 minutes in, and whats worse, this mod only disables animations, i still want to see them obv

I guess we are ***** ;/ This option should be the first thing games like this implement, no joke, the animations are cool, but get reallyyyyyyyyyyyyy boring after just a couple of hours 😭
