Black screen at start

I launch the game, hear the music & sound but the screen reamins black ...

Could you check to see if your graphics driver has any updates? That is usually the cause of a black screen issue. If not, please reply with your logs (C:\Users\you\AppData\Roaming\CassetteBeasts\logs) and system specs (in the Steam client: Help > System Information) - or send these to [e-mail]

If the above doesn't help and you need a quick fix -- assuming the game is fullscreen -- press F11 to go to windowed mode. If that works around the black screen issue, you can then enter borderless windowed by entering the settings and changing the resolution to match your screen size (but leave fullscreen off).

I'm unable to get it into windowed with alt-enter, F11 and even using -windowed in launch options. Any other ideas?
