Tapes disappearing

Two of my tapes completely disappeared now (one of them being Shining Kuneko) after finding a new Partner, whose tape replaces one my equipped tapes. But instead of the tape going into storage, it completely disappears.

So in my case I had Ramtasm and Shining Kuneko equipped. I then found Barkley, his tape Pombomb then replaced my Shining Kuneko. And now Shining Kuneko is completely gone for me, not in my party, not in the tape storage, nowhere. Am I missing something?

It should still be on your previous partner, they take it with them when you swap to another one.

I took Kaleigh with me again after it but nothing happened sadly :/

ACTUALLY YOU WERE RIGHT. Barkley suddenly had the tape? It's a bit confusing but i might just be tired. Thank you so much tho. :)
