As for favorite beasts, love the starter designs (Bansheep and Candevil).
On the opposite end of the spectrum, least favorites? Glaistain. The glass type sucks and Glaistain doesn't have the survivability to make it past turn two.
When it comes to usage, I've definitely enjoyed using Robindam a lot, spring-loaded has been so useful and Plastic is a surprisingly good defensive typing since it only takes a debuff from Earth moves and getting turned into Poison also isn't at all a problem (even if burn follows after) so even if Fire coverage is present it's done pretty well.
After that it's Southpaw and Spitzfyre. The dogs are super adorable.
