Lost my skateboard

Hello I lost my skateboard at the beggining but now I have to use a skateboard to go outside.. There are 2 skateboards in the house but I can't use them

I had the same problem. When the child told me to 'keep the skateboard' it did not show up in my inventory- either my inventory was full or the skateboard showed up as an unuseable blank item in the inventory (the icon for this item is a featureless white square) so, at level end when I had to escape on the skateboard I was unable to. I tried going back to the gardener's shed to grab one of the other skateboards but they did not activate properly.

The autosave has me stuck at this broken state in the level. I have one other recommendation beyond just looking at this bug- you should have a 'restart level' option. In this case it would start right as the truck pulls on to the property, all event flags restored. Because I hadn't saved since I started the game, I'll have to restart from the beginning to try and resolve this. The next time I'll save... :P
