Turning off vsync fixed it for me.

Perfect for me, I'd also venture to guess the guy above is right about turning off v-sync.

The game's camera is very clearly juddery when you rotate. Especially noticeable if you're on a high frame rate monitor.

If you don't see it you most likely just run a 60hz monitor or are one of those rare cases who actually can't see the difference between 60 and 120hz. If you play on a 120/144/240/360hz monitor at high framerates most people will instantly notice the 50fps fixed camera refresh. This can be fixed by the devs though. A more in depth explanation is in the thread posted by Weaver.

I know what you mean. Game looks pretty rough. It's just because it's locked at 60fps. For how fast paced this game gets.. 60 fps just aint cutting it.

It actually is not locked to 60fps but the camera is fixed to 50fps. If you don't move at all (stay stationary) but watch something while playing at 120fps the animation will actually be smooth and have the 120fps it's supposed to have. But the camera runs at 50fps (it only changes position 50 times per second instead of whatever the framerate is). This makes it even more obvious and look even less smooth than if everything was running 50fps. You can lock your framerate to 50fps with nvidia or amd control panel to make it feel better but if the devs fixed the camera we could run it at 120fps+ without any issues.
so what can i do? change the refresh rate to 60hz?

I noticed the game was choppy when I was running at 75hz. Switch my monitor to 60hz and the choppiness went away.

its still laggy my frame rates are all over the place even in the main menu.

Frame rates are very inconsistent throughout the game. Main menu looks choppy but the game itself mostly looks butter smooth. Some minigames look way better than others. 3440x1440 is the res I'm running (at 144 hz I think) except when I stream, and I dial it back to 1080p. Overall the game is pretty solid but the camera sucks as usual and I really need to take the time to dial in my controller because it is so damn sensitive.

For me it looks like the framerate is fine for everything but the movement of the stage itself when i tilt it around is slightly under 60 FPS and the weirdness of how specific it is is driving me crazy.
