Anyone else having trouble with Soft Cream and Launchers?
Feels like the physics and controls are working against me when I play those levels, feels harder coming from SMB Deluxe.

haven't gotten to soft cream yet, but launchers seemed pretty rough to me. whenever i used the side launchers that are flat like the original that seemed to help a lot. seesaw bridges is the one that really kicked my ass

Launchers was noticeably more difficult than in SMB 2. Similarly stuck on soft cream at the moment. Strange thing is it was never a level I remember struggling with at all in the original. But here I'm a good 30 deaths in with no sign of getting closer to actually beating it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who specifically struggled on Launchers and Seesaw Bridges. I'm on Soft Cream right now but I think I might've found a strategy. The new physics engine is good, but it's just so slightly off that it's driving me nuts.

Launchers and coin slot was annoying for me.

Launchers is nigh unbearable if you're doing it with no-Fallout mission in Challenge Mode or trying for the green goal

80% of the time it just launched me so high into the air, the map would glitch and I'd get a Fallout

soft cream, launchers, sieve, entangled path, warp, and flat maze were the levels that stood out to me as a lot more difficult this time around, i'm probably just use to flat maze skip in smb2 physics and it'll take me some time to adjust.

I've noticed some things while playing: your monkey turns the camera when pushing the thumbstick directly to the left or right, depending on the camera settings (when turned off) the camera needs to orient before the monkey moves, pulling back on the thumbstick is much less effective and it's harder to stop your monkey, mid air control has been altered so you can add forward angle and momentum but much harder to reduce your angle and speed in mid air.

deadzones are ♥♥♥♥♥♥, for now i fixed this by just setting the deadzone to a square deadzone like the original games through the steam overlay, really hoping they patch this as i imagine this makes playing with other control methods a huge pain.
