Ive played this game multiple times and I can't save John, he burns to death. How do you prevent the fire?

I can't find any information about how to get it in-game or anywhere else and have already completed 10+ playthroughs and unlocked all other achievements. It would be nice to at the very least get a hint about what is needed to get the medal since it's all I'm missing in order to unlock all achievements....

Could someone help me with the screen resolution? My game does not fit well with my PC screen and I do not know if there is a way to change it, being it in game or with any computer settings... I would even prefer playing it in window mode rather than the way it is, having part of the screen not showing up. Other thing would be the translation to Portuguese. I am from Brazil and, even though I do speak English, I know there are people who don't, and I think it would be a good way to approach a bigger spec...

Heyho developer, the game looks very interesting and i'm also thinking about buying it, but the only problem i see is that my english is not the yellow of the egg and i probably wouldn't enjoy playing the game in all its qualities. So my question is whether a German translation is planned? That would please me and maybe many others as well :) Greetings, ~Benni...
