Challenges reset in speedruns?

I have the upgrade "Challenges never reset on grand hardfork" but they reset when doing speedruns... This means when running speedrun 20 I have to reset server completely as it takes too many powerful upgrades away crippling all production and making the speedrun impossible. In the speedrun '?' it tells me I need to have bought "Don't reset challenges" which makes it sound like I need a different upgrade, assuming that is the upgrade name, but I cannot find an upgrade by that name. Am I missing somethi...

Missing purchase

I paid for the "PC ads" in Steam, on another computer while I was on vacation. Now I am back on my regular computer, and I no longer get the "ads". Is that really a system-specific thing, and not attached to my Steam account?
