The game's price increased?
I originally bought this game when it came out and loved it. Saw it on sale now because of Devolver Digital's current sale and wanted to buy it to a few of my friends, only to notice the game now costs 3 times more than it did at launch?

Look, I love this game. But I am NOT going to pay full AAA price for an indiegame from 2 years ago. Specially when I have bought AAA games for a fraction of that price only a year after launch, like Devil May Cry 5 or Resident Evil 4's remake.

Dude what are you on about? A standard AAA release nowadays are $60+ not including dlc. This game is $25 plus an optional $25 for all the current dlc. Not sure the math is mathing if you think $25 is equal to $60

it is fair and ok that you dont want to pay the asking price but do understand that the game you bought two years ago was a much smaller game than the one that is for sale now.

I don't pay in dollars if it wasn't obvious from my post's description. This game used to cost the equivelant to 6 dollars for me, but now it costs over a month worth's of food.

It's priced about 25$ (more or less depending on tax), and like 40$ if include the DLC aside from the soundtrack. Not to mention that it's *always* been $24.99 (plus tax), even on launch.I don't know what world you live in where $25 is equal to $6, or where $40 is a month's worth of groceries. This is either a really clever trolling attempt, or this person might actually be high/insane.

1: No where in your ramble of a post do you say or elude to what currency you pay in

2: The game has always been priced at $25 USD, or the equivalent conversion in other currencies

3: The lowest the game has been priced is $15, a price set during the winter sale in 2023, so if you got the game for lower than that, you most likely did fraudulently, especially when you consider that it didn't go on sale for lower than a 25% discount during the 2022 winter sale the year it was released.

4: If the game is "a month's worth of groceries" as you put it, you need to deeply reconsider your spending habits and financial situation if you rather spend money on games than actually securing a stable financial situation.

5: If the price was ACTUALLY an issue for you, you wouldn't have nearly as many games on your account as most of them fall to the exact same pricing history. A fair bit even costs more. Keep clowning, mate.

This is the problem with people like you. Can't be bothered to read a paragraph because it might distract you from the 24/7 IV drip of copium you need to live.

Literally this. It's always the "not gonna read that essay bro" when they know they're losing the argument. You can send them 5 sentences and their brain just melts. Brain rot got these ignorant toddlers hard.
Still no valid argument against any of the points raised by me or anyone else here by the OP either. Classic brain dead post on the steam forums

He doesn't have to be a toddler. Could be a boomer with lead in his veins. Lead poisoning from waterpipes is linked to a decrease in cognitive function you know.

Very true. Same with many mental illness that comes with age. It's highly plausible.
