difference between MATK and ATK
my past experience with RPGs would tell me that MATK only works for magic Spells, but since basically all physical weapons also give MATK its kinda weird for me. Does MATK apply to Skills as well or is it really just Magic spells?

I am a Bow player and use the magic Quiver so im kinda struggling to choose the balance between ATK and MATK. can someone help?

i believe the archer spec uses both to an extent with physical being the heavier of the 2. Could be wrong as i haven't played that since way before even boss rush was released

bow and their skills are all physical, melee weapon and their skills are all physical too, wand/staves and their skills (spells) are all magic.

Non-magical weapons have magic atk because you can build your character to use spells while wielding those weapons. Without that magic stat your spells would do basically zero damages while wielding them....

Now if you're into bows the only things to worry about are atk (physical) and critical damages.
Bows dont benefit from critical rate bonuses at all, only from ciritcal damages. What's called critical rate on enchants and skills actually mean "melee critical rate", it doesnt apply to bows.
The way to crit with a bow is to headshot and then be lucky with the base 10% flat critical rate of your character.
