Applying modifiers from materials to crafted items
Is it just a chance to get the modifier on the crafted item? I used 20 Bear Leather and got a plain armor on the first try. Second try I got Bear Armor.

How many pieces of special material do you need to get a chance at the modifier? Can I just use 19 regular leather and 1 bear leather, and still have a chance to get Bear Armor?

Personally would not use non-enchanted materials at all, even if it's not the intended enchant. Also, you need to try dozens of times... in most cases, hundreds of times.

Yes, you can use 1 material that's enchanted and the rest being regular. It will still roll the dice on the crafted item being enchanted. You can even mix more materials with different enchantments to roll for up to 4 enchantments on the crafted item. I've gotten 4 enchantments on an item before, but it is really rare.

So the best way to roll would be using 1 material with each enchantment you want, and the rest regular materials, so your special materials last a lot longer? Do we know if the number of special materials in the craft affects the chances of getting that mod?

I've tried a variety of combinations and they all seem too random to conclude that it affects it. Even using only enchanted materials can net a crafted item without any enchantments...

is it possible for crafting 1 item with 2 modifier names?

It is possible to have up to four modifiers, but you'll likely need many of it to actually get them on your item. You can also craft multiple items at the same time but with for example two different stones in the case of arrows to still get multiple modifiers.
