wood plank drone base does not work

Hi, ive been trying things for a while now to make this drone work, but it just stays on the base. It does nothing, no movement or anything. Ive tried cutting wood myself to see if it would pick it up and ive tried just plain dropping wood from my inventory and also tried letting the rotating saws cut the wood,but it just does nothing and stays where it is when u place it. Ive tried putting it on different heights and floors but nothing makes this thing pick up my wood.

Is this a bug or im i just not getting how i should place or use it ?? Please help its driving me crazy 🤪

i believe those drones will receive an overhaul and functionality disabled for the time being. they were never that helpful even in legacy as they only targeted single pieces of wood. however they were always more useful as walls or funneling mobs and what not in non-wood farms.

Yeah, those drones had actually been replaced with the new Recovery Drone Base, which is the same but can lift multiple objects at once, can be programmable AND has the cool feature of removing enchantments. It also turned the "Inherited" objects into normal objects.
