Difference between gliders?

Hello, currently have access to the first two gliders (handmade and beast). Is there a difference between these two, besides the look?

When new gliders become available past these two, will it be obvious when one has upgraded stats? Thanks!

gliders and any other flight units (even griffin wings) don't have any stats, if I remember it correctly..

It's just about the coolness factor, really. Do keep in mind that you can enchant the gliders, so you could could make one all about melee and one just for magic. Apart from that? Yeah, just use the glider that looks the best for you

They seem to control better with the better gliders. More smooth to turn and such. There are enchantment for Air speed. So be sure to use those.

Glider types were more meaningful before the major update. Much more enemies dropped enchanted ingredients. The best idea for your glider was to choose a recipe with good enchanted ingredients, and gamble them showing up on the final product.

The new enchanted system is much easier to work with, but enchanted ingredients are far more rare. So glider recipe doesn't matter as much.
