How do I make money?
Seems the game economy got a major nerf at some point and they forgot to lower the cost of respec to something decent like 5k or 10k tops so players can do a bit of that.

I'm almost clearing the entire map and have never been even close to have 100k much less the 10mil for the achievement.

I'm planting grapes which gives me around 10k for each 150 units I sell. Pre nerf this would have netted me like 200k instead.

I start out with cheese that sells for 500.00 a piece, Then make wine as soon as possible it sells for 5000.00 a piece. I plant a 10 x 10 section of plots for 100 plots so that's 400 grapes or 20 wines. Keep one or two agers always going. All my characters have several hundred thousand, and a couple with over a million. Wine is the one of the quickest ways to make money.

Is there any way to pick crops automatically? Or you do those 100 plots by hand constantly?

100 sounds like too much, the moment you're planting like 50 or 60 the new ones are done already no?

When you get more advanced on your age, you'll have more automation options open for you, but some of them you have to buy the blueprint of from one of the merchants that requires a certain crop. The four major things you'll need is the sprinkler, Reaping Machine, seed extractor and a Multi-sling. I forgot what vendors gave what blueprint for what crop. You'll have to find the crop specific merchant and see what they have.

Cheese is a good start, yeah - a caught and then released Merchant sells Livestock Feed for a paultry 10 Gold, which can be used for 1 Milk at the Livestock farm - and Cheese sells for 500 after aging it.
Wine works great too, although you can also just sell the grapes for some quick cash. They are worth 100 gold each, so aging them into wine is a raw profit of 3000 - 2000 gold for the 20 grapes turned into 5000 gold from 1 Wine.
It'd probably be easier to automate this at some point, but unless Distributors work correctly, it might be annoying to collect all the grapes and then manually age them.
On the other hand, a craft connector and Aging Machines can probably do the same...

An alternative can also be selling everything from an Iron Bedrock (or better; Silver should drop more items than just ore as well) that you don't need: Crystals, Sulphur, Crude Oil - you might need it later, but you can always stockpile a good bit. By the time you need Crude Oil (for a jetpack), you can already make artificial bedrock too - and it DOESN'T require anything else in Seamless (despite the description). That way, you can sell stuff you don't need and when you need it and depleted a bedrock, just make a new one.

I can plant my plots in roughly less than 2 minutes. And no, I actually have to wait for the crops to finish. The problem I have found, is if you don't hand gather or try to cut all at once, you lose anywhere from 4 to 100 fruits or vegetables. So yes, it takes time to hand cut, but not as long as you would think. The money is worth it, till they work out some bugs.
