all dungeons were at fixed "positions", as far as I remember..
but the type of the dungeon did differ from each island we unlocked through the world's gate..
in seamless, there's only one type of dungeon.. just a normal dungeon, fight some mobs inside, fight the boss, done...
in legacy, we got like dungeon of island, dungeon of speed(?), also anubis tomb or something that had lizard gunner and griffin as the boss, etc..
Thanks. I am just thinking both legacy and seamless have its fun and reason to play.
It's a bit pity to remove the legacy version completely from the game when considering all the effort made by the team. Why don't they just add back the legacy version as another "game mode"? It seems they have abandoned the whole legacy version.
Even we can still play legacy through Steam Beta function, any new skills / items / automations / features and so on... won't be updated in the legacy version anymore.
I didn't play legacy before so maybe most of the players like seamless one more than legacy?
You can opt out of seamless to play legacy again.
Right click game in library > properties > betas > select legacy in the beta participation dropdown
I think the biggest complaint so far is that much of the legacy content, while still in the game technically, is locked behind the new progression system, and unreachable currently
seamless only has one big world, but the update is continuous like any other adventure rpg games like genshin or zelda..
but, seamless doesn't really have a "goal" aside from battle mode..
I mean, we do need bunch of items to repair the towers, and to increase the era, but not to the point we would need automation system on farms...
while in legacy, we played on multiple "islands", which need to be unlocked using materials... and this is where the automation shine, because legacy had a lot of unlock-able islands..
not to the point that automation is important, but it was really nice to had some.. like batteries farm or biofuel farm...
legacy had multiple type of dungeons, but their positions were on fixed point..
while seamless, though it has dungeon but it only one type.. go into the dungeon, beat monsters, do some puzzles, beat the boss...
but, the other "type" of dungeons, in other had, are put into the new system called "anubis trial", which scattered around the whole world.. we need to explore the world to find one..
