Can you extract enchantment from a weapon?

yes you can, but it will give you only one fragment of that enchant and u need 10 to put it back on another weapon

to extract it from a weapon just click Multiselect in inventory and right click the weapon and click on extract enchantment

Incorrect. It gives a variable amount based on the quality of the enchant. For example blue enchants give 5 and purple give 2.
