Easy way to get saltpeter?

I have no idea where to find feces to craft saltpeter. My friend's character ♥♥♥♥ out feces once in 15+ hours of playing the new update. Am I missing some way to farm it?

So all animals (and people) drop feces at random, it's very slow. An automated farm is recommended to gather feces automatically as you play the game.

Craft a few "Monster Prism"s on the workbench, go up to a few level 1 cows and toss them at them, they will catch like pokeballs do. (If higher than lvl 1, try punching them before capturing them.)

Then craft (or find) a "Breeding Facility S", set it down then craft walls all around it so the cows don't escape. Throw the captured cows into the red circles of the breeding machine and it will start spinning them around and popping more cows out. (I recommend a 4x4 walled off area.) The cows can never leave and overtime they will drop feces.

If you want detailed instructions, I suggest looking up a video for "cow breeding automation" or "feces farm" online.

Don't forget to craft a "Monolith" (3x3 is just a larger radius than the other one) so the automation doesn't pause while you're far away, so you can play the game without having to afk by your automations.

Alright. setting up an animal farm kept nagging me in the back of the head but I wanted to try and put if off as long as possible. Appreciate the response, I'll get to it I suppose.

As I tabbed back into game I noticed I don't have the blueprint for a breeding facility. You wouldn't happen to know where it drops do you?

As I tabbed back into game I noticed I don't have the blueprint for a breeding facility. You wouldn't happen to know where it drops do you?

Sadly I don't think I have it either. It could be an age of evolution upgrade that you get for completing the towers. Otherwise, go explore the world map, there's several laying around that you can just hold F on and take them.

If you want an exact location, the earliest one I found was in the next immediate area after the main/beginner hub circle.

In the beginning area where the tower is named "Ruin of Beginning", go East. You'll come to a bottle neck area where the land narrows and the sea surrounds it. If you go south onto a cliff overhanging the water, there's a warpgate portal at the top of that cliff. Once you grab that, keep going east, you'll come across a camp of goblins, there should be a tiny bit of ruins from old human technology, right behind that is a "Breeding Facility S" in use with conveyor belts and a huge cooking pot.

Loot the stuff out of the pot, loot the pot, loot the conveyor belts, capture the cows, look the breeder machine, then go find a place to set up your automation.

there is a breeding facility blueprint..
but, you need some cabbages to buy it from a merchant..
the merchant is at the 3rd village..

If you progress to the third village, you can buy the livestock farm. Put a human in it and it'll produce feces like crazy. It chews through livestock feed though, so i would advise catching a Merchant to buy from.
