Craftopia

İstatistiklere Bak:
After 30 minutes game takes up 16GB of RAM
Hi,

After restarting my computer, I started Craftopia up fresh and it was using about 20-25%~ (4GB) of my RAM upon startup.
It's been 31 minutes and now we're at 16GB of RAM usage just for Craftopia, per task manager. It appears to be steadily rising.
At the time of this post now we are actually at 17GB of RAM usage.

I have reduced graphics to "Low Quality" and disabled VSync

I am playing single player, in a relatively fresh world after the last one continually caused my game to crash. I have not built many things in this world, only 1 of each crafting table, a handful of chests, and a handful of torches.

My computer specs:

CPU: Intel® Core™ i9-13900KF Processor (8X 3.00GHz + 16X 2.20GHz/36MB L3 Cache)
RAM: 32GB [16GB x 2] DDR4-3600MHz
GPU: GeForce RTX 3080 - 10GB GDDR6X

The intention of this post is just to alert developers of this issue/to receive any suggestions on what I can do on my side to reduce these issues while devs work on a permanent fix.

I think the game have memory leak issues.

Operating System: Windows 10 (10.0.19044) 64bit
CPU Type: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8400 CPU @ 2.80GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
GPU Memory: 12124 MB
System Memory Size: 65450 MB
It has a lot of issues right now apparently. I've tried low and high and all sorts of in between. My cpu and gpu temps both are SUPER high, never did this in any other title. 80's for the gpu and 70s for cpu. Like wuh..

Perhaps I should upgrade to 64GB RAM as well too so I can play for more than an hour :blissful_creep: I'm enjoying the game but it's not playable for long periods, and in multiplayer it crashes even faster.

Ah I think they fixed that part hopefully with the latest update? Today's temps don't seem that bad (but I only played for 30 minutes)
So far GPU 59C but CPU did hit 70.5C

No, temps for me are way up there. I'm using a 6950 XT OC, and this game is the only one ever til this day to push it to 80c. lol I've tried everything to lower it more.

CPU is hitting 74, 5900x. Again, NEVER happens in anything else.

I'm lost lol.
the bugs....

its very long loading time...
still fail to recognized 3440x1440, only recognized 5K ultrwide....
its much much more horrible average fps on the same graphic setting than the old one....

yep.. 3440x1440 not being there had me like WTF.. buuuuuuut apparently 4k is actually 3440x1440 it doesn't look stretched or messed up? idk

How ever, this game TANKS my whole system up into the 80c ranges like.. WHAT?

now, i am using 34 inch 3440x1440 75hz.....

in your PC, can u trying for using vertical sync ??
I'm experiencing this since the latest update a lot. Game crashes after like an hour with 16GB RAM and 2GB VRAM. It was causing huge issues when i had 24GB VRAM so lowering it did reduce my playtime by an hour before a crash, but also doesn't freeze Windows completely now lol...

This seriously needs looking at. I've monitored temps and everything seems fine.

low 80s for gpu (around 82-83°C) is fine when it used 100%. a cpu going at 100% should never exceed 80°C, so Id check how much % your cpu is running at, maybe you got a cooling problem. Though 70s is still good.

To anyone complaining about temps between 80-84°C: you need to check the usage %. If its far from 100%, its too high temp. if its at 100% the temps are fine.

It has a memory leak, the game will chug the longer you play. Remember to fully close and relaunch it every ~2 hours to avoid crashes. Every time you teleport and go into a loading screen or open a packed container, think of it as a freeze/crash approaching sooner. The game needs optimization and trash cleanup.

This is almost guaranteed at this point. 90% of my crashes are in fast travel or cutscenes. I've opted for manual saving before i enter every time now.

No, NO OTHER GAME period ever does this. Cooling is PERFECTLY fine across several titles I play far more demanding than this game. The dev's said its still an issue in their latest post that's being looked into. Something is pushing things too far when it shouldn't be some where some how. I even lowered things to low and no change, not even by 2 degrees. Even ramping the fans up to near 100% did nothing.

This game is messing with something. Plus the memory leak is still there for some.

Cyber punk and 2042 were the only titles to really push my CPU to even hitting 72c ever, those are maxed out go figure and gpu? Never saw even 70's with those.

Then this game? HOW? 80s? WHAT? lol
I just bought the game and should be able to run it on any specs after awhile of playing it freezes my entire computer... Do they plan on fixing tthis or should i refund while i still can.. I really love this game but not if it keeps freezing my computer.
i crash alot after update too then someone in discord said automation cause memleak they said remove and replace them fix issue
but in my save don't have automation yet then remember that first village camp have absorber i go remove and replace them and it fix for me

Thanks for the info! :happy_creep:

Ah yeah I don't have any automation yet in my new world too, I guess I gotta go remove any absorbers/breeding facility/etc from nearby areas.
