Where do you find Cotton???

Cotton is needed to progress through the game and I can't seem to find it anywhere. My wife and I have split up and gone pretty far from the starting location to find it to no avail.

Checked other villages, talked to various vendors. Broken bushes down and tried looking in chests, and killing mobs in hopes of drops... still nothing.

It's essential to progress and yet... doesn't seem to be anywhere??

isn't it just 5 old rags in a crafting recipe?

used to be hay into old rags, old rags into cotton. idk if it's like that after the update tho.

I'm so silly... I figured it out lol

Yes you're right. I was tired when I posted this question and didn't realize that I was actually looking for sheep wool not cotton.

Cotton Canvas is what you make with old rags.
