At least that's what I do.
I'll be on a cliff or something, exhaust my jumps, then jump again to activate glider. Then crouch or dodge button is to drop down, I think.
Let me know if this is it. I'm going to log in right now so I could double check just in case and I'll correct this if not.
So if you mash the jump button, it'll drop, glide, drop, glide, drop, glide.
Shift is to extend the side wings to increase speed.
Having more stamina helps with gliding for longer.
If high up, I'd save up the last amount of stamina to drop down close to the ground, then catch yourself before hitting it so you don't drop from high up with no stamina to save yourself.
Glad it worked. There's an accessory that grants the double jump ability so you don't have to invest a skill point. Also the Wings gives you multiple extra jumps, but they're each small and takes up stamina. Jetpack is infinite rising, but takes fuel.
Gliding is faster horizontal, but the stamina it takes to sustain it, I just use it for closing distances since I'm faster running.
