Can I play this game as a single player? I don’t want to play online with others.
I want to adventure and gave a great story,

Yes you can play solo, but the story isnt implemented yet... for now there's a small intro, a chain of rewarded missions and a tech tree to complete same way as in AOE, but no real story... it's mostly a sandbox with crafting, building, farming, hunting, etc...
