Multiplayer changes?
So I have no idea if any of the game devs read these or if there are already in game ways to change what I'm about to suggest so if there are already solutions please inform me. I'm very much a chill player with games so I never look too deep into them unless I really want to start going a bit hardcore.

Issue 1) Melee friendly-fire problem

I can understand this more for archer and mage builds, but it's still a bit annoying that you can hit your team mates. Melee characters however have it worse as two or more people just cannot attack the same mob. Spears/2H have a huge attack area and dual wield just send you forward all the time and you just hit your team mates staggering/interrupting/knocking them back all the time. It takes the fun out of playing with your friends and more of less forces 3 people to go a ranged spec. It can be fun, as a friend loves throwing his lance at everyone and sending them flying off cliffs, but when it comes to dungeon bosses it just causes extra damage to be taken from the boss and also reduces the damage being dealt to the boss. Which, personally, doesn't add challenge to the fights, it just makes it frustrating and less fun to play with people. Especially when iit forces you to play a different build style than you want to (which I know isn't an issue as 100k per re-spec is not a problem), but when you then have to start changing spec/items over and over or take up valuable inventory space... just remove being able to hit each other or have a feature to de-activate it for bosses or dungeons or something. That way you can have a tank and melee, or 2-3 melee in a group with out worrying about the other people.

Issue 2) Island hopping.

I would assume this is a thing that has been brought up by a few players, or would at least hope so. Can it be implemented into the game that players on multiplayer games can go to islands without dragging everyone in the game with them?

The amount of times we've had 2 people sorting out the base with material grinding and making farms etc and two people needing to go off to gather ore that is only present on a different island, but we all have to agree when to go is another annoying feature. I'm no game/server boff so I don't know how that works in a game engine/server way, but if players can island hope freely without everyone going it would certainly make the multiplayer experience more enjoyable.

Would certainly like to see more shield designs, more missions to give the game more direction as I felt a bit lost after I did the current missions and only had drive to make the armour (which I now have and don't feel the need to keep unlocking islands) and maybe more building item designs/shapes to make better looking structures, but early access and all that, so hope these are all already on the cards to be implemented.
