Anubis starts lvl 255

Hell anubis scales to sin up to level 255 though sin counter keeps rising beyond that number. If you've run an anubis farm or captured them, they will increase your sin counter. This is stored per character, not world. Doesn't matter if you reset or not, if your sin counter is 255+, he'll be 255. Can use dog food on anubis(or groups of them) to lower sin counter if you have difficulty killing him.

I guess you get the same thing than lvl 1 anubis, and you cant tame a hell anubis

You get 255x the rewards that a level 1 would drop you.

Same thing for me because of my Anubis farm. I've made 40 dog food and splashed it on light Anubis, but he's still level 255. Must be hidden levels not showing up.

His level scales off sin counter which doesn't stop at 255. If you use dog food and his level isn't going down, it's because you're still above 255 on the sin counter. Use dog food on groups of anubis to reduce in bulk amounts.
