Pickaxe stronger than Diamond? How to mine higher level minerals?

I have a diamond pickaxe and there are some minerals that say I need a higher tier axe. Didn't know there was one. I tried to see if I could reinforce it with duplicates, didn't work.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a stronger pickaxe atm. Might be an idea to look up for it in the new creative mode.

You can mine everything in game. Either through the use of excavators or other machinery, gravity, or higher tiered weapons that match the tier of the ore you wish to hit. Diamond pickax the best pickax currently in-game though.

Actually you can simply use the war tank. 1 hit from that bully deals 60000 damage from close range or absolutely anything. Bosses/minerals/bedrocks... boom!

Dual wielding combos work fine with my toon, then you got some spells (rune shot, hellfire). Vehicle weapons like biplaine machineguns and rockets or the tank's gun work too.
But now if you want big quantities of those metals/minerals just breed some high level merchants and purchase it from them. Store them in prism when you're done (killing them make a skeleton spawn in place of their body when the night fall).
