Meteorite Fragment for Artificial bedrock

I want to craft Artificial Bedrock of Bauxite and Rare metal.(I know it can be obtain in Abandoned mine Dungeon)
Item comment says "resulted in this miracle",so I tried long time AFK in bed on Level 7's island(Desert,Empty).
But Meteorite didn't fall.
I have to wait for falling Meteorite more long time or my way was wrong?

i had been wondering about what it would look like, so i would be able to find it. one finally landed for me yesterday. it comes down with the same warning as the supply pod. i have the mod for the notification and locate of the drop. and wear the detector. so its findable but not any different than the supply pod. so, you need to look for the pod every time it drops and it will be a smaller flaming rock rather than the bigger fire of the supply pod. good luck, now im just waiting for the bedrock to be empty to use it. so far auto harvesters working on that.

I found Middle size of Meteorite Fragment in Level 4 Desert Island today (Day 398th in game).
It was small as Mono.Thank you for advice.
