Tower with world heritage in the sky

Hi,
I have made myself home in a desert island right after the beginner one. I started farming these world heritage collums to build the pyramids and just when I needed only one more for step 3 to finish I couldn't find the thing at the point my minimap marked. I went to some other worlds and found them there just fine. Today, back at home I had a mark right next to my base and after some rather frustrating 5 minutes I realised a glow in the distant sky. Build 100+ ramps in zig zag but couldn't get any closer (still no ping from the radar).
Will it ever come back down?

Make a balloon and go after it.

I've had quite a few towers that were very tall. Now I tend to go for these in a helicopter. You can park on the top of the tower, activate the pillar and either ride the tower down or get back in your helicopter and fly down. Your helicopter will come down on its own without taking damage, if you choose to ride the tower down.

@Kunogi: thanks for the tip, but after 5 min staring at the screen watching the balloon rise but not seeming to get to the tower I decided to abandon this experiment. It was way too slow. And I don't want to play a game just to wait for an eternity, I want to play it.

@karma827: thank you too. I'll try this next even though getting them from other worlds is just way easier.

the chopper is better, for now I think they are trying developed the airplane or something like that.

Totally agree when it's really hard, find an easier one lol. Honestly seems more like the one that's being so elusive is just glitched, or something along those lines. On the upside, if you ever do manage to get it, it'll respawn in a new (hopefully not-glitched) location.

Well... so far it always respawns this up high. I doupt that it will respawn anywhere normal ever again.
