Easiest way to get wood/log?

Hey guys!

Kinda new to the game but I’ve already tanked a ton of hours into the game and I noticed you can automate most things.

Is it possible to automate or grow more trees? The saw blade machine seems to break really quickly when out chopping whatever and there doesn’t seem to be unlimited supplies without transporting to another zone.

With that being said, is the quickest way to get logs to just go around chopping all the trees with an axe?

higher quality axe yields more logs per swing/goes through trees fast. with a high level axe, you can get a stack of logs in like 30 seconds or less if you have enough trees around. Its not really worth the effort to automate

and there are skills in the skill tree that get you more yield for wood and ores.

Stamina Potion + Rotating Strike (Skill) + Sense of Lumberjack (Skill) + Lumberjack Sword. Get near a tree - Press C+ Attack (Left mouse button) at the same Time and you will get about 500 log every minute. You are welcome :)

Thanks for the tips! I created my main area in a desert biome soooo, ya know, wood is scarce 😂

You will get about 200-300 wood out of one tree with that trick ;)

Damnit I've sold my lumberjack sword everytime I got it lol. Didn't know that was a thing. Thanks and will try it out.

RNG drop from chests, that's where I usually got it

Go to a high level island and search for smith the Merchant. He will sell it to you. If he has none. Go to another and try it there. Or catch 2 of them and put them into the Breeding Facility. Than you can buy as many stuff as you like the whole time.

Is there a way to regenerate a map or grow more trees? I'm not exactly low on wood but I've exhausted the supplies on 2 maps so far.

If you only want wood, the easiest way is to create a new world and chop trees from the starting island.

Does this actually work? Do the merchant levels depend on the island you're on? I caught two of the lvl 86 guys and bred them on my tutorial island and the babies were all lvl 5 and had crappy items.

Still no lumber jack sword :(

Maybe if I breed them on the higher level island they'll be higher level?

Yes, island level matters. you could catch them on a low level and go to a high level island, and you'd wind up with high level merchants

Yea just breed them on higher level island. I got my lumberjack sword yesterday but I forgot whether it's a level 41 or level 56 island

Oh right, I forgot that we can take our character to other worlds. That solves that issue, thanks!
