The Point is balancing different weapons in this state is absolutely pointless. They better focus on Bugs / implement the missing features like Skills, Enemy Types and Bosses and THEN focus on anything like balancing. Especially since alot of enemies are bugging and dont do the amount of damage they should do and stuff like this. In this state of the game its completely senseless. Its even not said that 2hander is OP, it depends how far you are. Im on Islands Tier 4 now, enemies above lvl 24 (or 21, idk for sure atm) and its by far not the end. Enemies scale up in every Tier you go up so probably 2hander on lower stages is OP but well balanced on Tier 12 islands. Just test it until the end and when its even OP against lvl 50 (or whatever the hardest enemies are later on) THEN you can probably come back and throw around that 2hander might be a bit strong, the Devs will have a look into it and probably change something on them. Because you came around and want to dictate what the devs have to nerf or balance, its just your opinion and might completely differ from the dev ones so ...

While you're right, I don't think this should be a priority right now

I hope you're right that it balances out in late game. And I never dictated, I stated my opinion that it should be nerfed, depending on how others view it later on, it could be nerfed or it could stay the same, who knows. But I will agree with you on the enemies actually should be doing their correct damage instead of 1's all the time.

I dont know how far you are, im unlocking lvl 4 Islands now and the enemies are above lvl 41 from there. So I think the Balancing is just fine, probably when you stick too long on the low level islands you get OP there but 2k damage against lvl 41 on lvl 4 islands you might start to sweat again since their health increases aswell. Even lvl 4 islands are not even mid game looking at how many island level you still can unlock so i guess its balanced. Imagine you fight lvl 100+ enemies later on with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of HP and you doing 500 damage per hit. Then people would complain that it takes ages to kill a simple mob, Bosses we dont start to speak off ^^

I just look at it more so of level+weapon-damage reduction. Vs lvl 100's though I could see how much more power u would need unless they decided to implement the system that world of Warcraft did with making damage numbers normal even as you go up in tiers.

I've seen dragon with way more health than the bosses that has like 5,000 Health just saying lol

You've seen the video of 1999 damage well the boss was level 105 and has 5,000 health its just not enough yet so we can hit 10,000 and +10 weapons needs to come
BloodiScari Sep 8, 2020 @ 5:55am
Haven't really played that far so far into the game but.
The big damage comes after short combo where enemy pretty much needs to be stationary.
I don't think it should be nerfed, rather buff other weapon variants to be more inline with slow but high hitting weapons

A boss being lvl 105 with only 5k health is makes my statement true that 2h being able to 3 shot a boss is brokenly op, if they actually give the boss damage reduction it wouldn't make it op and a nerf wouldn't even be a thought in my head, but I will agree with others that bugs are a bigger problem then weapons that are op.

And yes I've seen that video it was vs the golem but I didn't know what lvl either character was at tbh.

See a buff to other weapons would be nice and could be a better solution then the one I suggested, but the one thing im trying to understand is, are the devs trying to put in the tank, dps, and healer classes into the game without actually letting us select a class or are they just trying to give freedom? Because if it's the first it would make sense for the tank to have less damage than a 2h but when dual wielding comes out will it rival the 2h or just be an underwhelming version of it between sword and board and 2h?

I'd Want a Class and maybe Stats to upgrade or idk what else they want to put forward...
Classes sounds like- a super Good Idea to be Honest, i think it should exist in this game!

+Want Classes
Thanks you!

the thing is you hit 1999 with a sword of 150 damage- but if you watch thr 14Star weapon it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUyvqpLJKqs&ab_channel=x2v11
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFTiJcsW9No&ab_channel=x2v11
does 960 damage so 6xTimes the damage meaning 12000 already if you get a weapon 14 star 2 handed

and the weapon isn't even +10 so just saying

Just don't use it then. Don't assume everyone else wants the same.

if you complain about 2 hander damage, just nerf bows too. They easily do +50k dmg on headshots if you have the right stuff

funny thing i build my floating base near the dungeon, means there's a bear roaming around there. everytime the bear come to my base i just hit them with 2 handsword..

2 hit, at most 3 hit just to yeet it. *perfectly balanced*

Oh and btw my 2handsword is rolled with attack speed so it hits really fast lol

Platinum Bow, no enchants =

14 star is way higher than Platinum. Bow is waaaay more unbalanced than a 2handed
dont get me wrong i like 2handed, also i think it might be okay from dmg - durability shoudl be higher though..

i dont get why all want 2handed to be nerfed, Bow is lik 5-6 times worse(12k-13k with 14star? And bow is jsut Platinum does 52k+ .. hmm)
