Is single player actually viable?

Game mentions single player is an option but it seems to be leaning heavily into MP. I know it's early days at the moment but does it look like a single player experience will be gimped?

So I just got this game, and wow. I keep saying wow.... The game has a Zelda feel, but then when you think its just zelda with some build mechanics, you take a leap and realize you can't just learn the blueprints at stations. You have to earn a lot of them. Your character can be transitioned to multiple worlds and between SP and MP.

I'm playing solo and it is Viable you just need to be stronger since you won't have support in combat. I'm using Bow mostly with a sword and shield incase.

its pretty easy just early on abuse the multiple world thing only pack food and gear on you. then rush to the time trial to get some gear keep spamming it until you have a decent setup. Keep reseting and getting more gears.

Just started playing last night. Just like Suslik said, keep reseting and getting more gears. After that it plays smoothly.

Havent had any problems killing mobs, resource gathering will just be slower solo, probably until ya figure out automation.
