game crashed, detected trojan script in game files

So I was playing a trial and got near the end when suddenly the game crashed and I couldn't relaunch it due to a missing file. Naturally I went to verify integrity of game files and when it started downloading the missing file it was detected by windows antivirus as Trojan:Script/Sabsik.FL.B!ml thus im unable to play the game from now on as windows wont let me download this file for the game and without it the game won't run.

Anyone else had this same issue?

And yeah, I know that I can just go and allow this file in windows defender but why is it picking it up as a trojan? I was playing fine for hours before this

report this in the outlast discord server, to get it fixed

Same happen to me.
"Trojan:Script/Sabsik.FL.B!ml" on TOTClient.exe
X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Outlast Trials\TOTClient.exe

while u have ms defender "realitme" on u will not be able to reinstall it.
will be delete as sone it gets to "...\steamapps\downloading\1304930\TOTClient.exe"

Yeah, done that now, thanks. They got back to me and told me to reinstall the game and whitelist Outlast Trials in the windows defender. So yeah it's an easy fix, but still I hope they look into it and make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else since it's kinda spooky for a game file to be picked up as a virus

u can also just whitelist it from threat history and checkfiles on steam.
