Something about Jeager
Jeager can still find me and kill me while I'm hiding from gas or freeze.. and that is not fair, you can't hide you can't go out basically just stay there and die

It is the most annoying combo for sure.
Every time it happens, I make sure I run far far away from my current spot. Don't care about "too far from the objective area", I will run straight to the beginning if the map are too small.

thats actually an oversight i think. either she should stop chasing after the player or both of those things just shouldnt be able to co exist

These things aren't instakills, so if you're hiding with Jaeger 3m away, then you're pretty much killing yourself at that point. In that regard also use health items, they're not just decorative items.

And furthermore the time inbetween 2 gas/freeze events is roughly the same, so if you can't affort tanking too much health, then you can also run away preemtively.

And the benefit of both of these options is that you pull Jaeger away from the objectives, which you want to do anway. So overall it's more of a problem of you not wanting to adapt to it, because the game most certainly offers tools to survive this.

Though i wouldn't be surprised if this combination will eventually be taken out, because for some reason many players don't want to learn anything that's more complex than one thing at a time.

?
True, this would make the trial take unbearably long as a solo and in multiplayer would make 1 person really never able to interact with objectives

its meant to be like that, the new trials aint playing around, they gave us everything and held our hand and since catching Amelia things aren't meant o be fair anymore. it is like punishment for trying to scheme our way out.

The Jaeger isn't searching, it already knows where one patient with a rig is. It just follows the rig wherever it goes. So even if you hide, it will walk straight to your hiding spot and grab you.

There are some gates that it can't pass through. When you go through one of those gates, it will head to an elevator and exit to respawn on the other side through an elevator.

Overall, the mix of Jaeger and gas, or Jaeger and cold snap can be very tough. Cold snap and gas have both been mentioned as features that stretch out trials needlessly. The addition of the Jaeger also means that you have to plan a quick run during most cycles so you can get to a hiding spot far enough away every time. Which again ends up slowing down the trial.

If it happens too often, then something will probably be done to reduce the frequency of their overlap. These modifiers overlapping is probably the most annoying issue right now. it is certainly a challenge, but it is also borderline on just ruining the experience.
