And furthermore the time inbetween 2 gas/freeze events is roughly the same, so if you can't affort tanking too much health, then you can also run away preemtively.
And the benefit of both of these options is that you pull Jaeger away from the objectives, which you want to do anway. So overall it's more of a problem of you not wanting to adapt to it, because the game most certainly offers tools to survive this.
Though i wouldn't be surprised if this combination will eventually be taken out, because for some reason many players don't want to learn anything that's more complex than one thing at a time.
You forgot to write some words before the question mark.
It is the most annoying combo for sure.
Every time it happens, I make sure I run far far away from my current spot. Don't care about "too far from the objective area", I will run straight to the beginning if the map are too small.
There are some gates that it can't pass through. When you go through one of those gates, it will head to an elevator and exit to respawn on the other side through an elevator.
Overall, the mix of Jaeger and gas, or Jaeger and cold snap can be very tough. Cold snap and gas have both been mentioned as features that stretch out trials needlessly. The addition of the Jaeger also means that you have to plan a quick run during most cycles so you can get to a hiding spot far enough away every time. Which again ends up slowing down the trial.
If it happens too often, then something will probably be done to reduce the frequency of their overlap. These modifiers overlapping is probably the most annoying issue right now. it is certainly a challenge, but it is also borderline on just ruining the experience.
