How is community and randoms?
I am thinking of getting outlast trials since i loved both previous games. I used to play dead by daylight a lot but after a LOT of hours toxicity in the community made me quit.
Since i checked some discussions this is more fun in coop, but si ce i dont have any friends to play with I want to know if playing with randoms is fun? And is it very scary like other two if im going solo all along :D

Solo is not scary at all. Every enemies in this game is very nice to players. I would recommend that you start from beginner level Psychosurgery.

Introductory is the most difficult mode among all, all enemies reacts to the sound that you emit immediately without noise reduction amp or crouching, and they have fast reaction speed.
There are three modes, Program Genesis, Current event, and Escalation
Escalation continues infinitely.

Playing with randoms are also fun to play with, but the marching are quite slow. You would get the fastest marching from playing Escalation, then the current event during peak times.

Escalation requires some experiences and it will process from easy to difficult levels in 10 levels, and continue with the most difficult level Ultra. However, the good side is it helps you level up much quicker with streak bonus. It may difficult to play first, but after you adapting the maps, you will get to learn how to play every map, instead of waiting for the event to show up.

If you don't mind solo, I would recommend you to practice with Program Genesis in the easiest mode first. All the other short trials or mk challenges are based on those 7 maps.

I'm new too and people have been helpful and non-toxic. Don't listen to Ela because they are trolling you. Psychosurgery is the most difficult option. Play intro or standard with randoms and you'll have a good time. You might get people who are toxic if you queue intensive or psychosurgery as you're inexperienced and queuing those while not knowing what to do can get the entire team killed.

I only ever had 1 whiny kid on playstation but other than that the community is very chill and friendly. Very fun to interact with everyone in the trials. The experienced players tend to Be patient, ive noticed alot are slow and still learning the map/trial.

I've played 145 hours since Early Access released, maxed level and only ever played with randoms, from easiest to hardest difficulties. In all that time I've never met anyone rude, afk or trolling. Only encountered a cheater once, who used a no-cooldown Stun Rig-spamming cheat.
