It's still super lame, discouraging player interaction in a game solely focused on an online cooperative puzzle game makes no sense.
This unfortunately has become the standard for modern games. Over censorship, lack of communication methods and getting straight up banned from some games because of chat activity.
TeamFortress 2 is the only game that I can think of that has no censorship nor any chat punishment. If people mic spam or are just unpleasant, I mute them, It's really that simple
From what I saw, those games don't have any censors and at least one of them are made for mature audience.
