Strong arm nerf
The grunts get up a lot quicker now, something I recently noticed. Not sure running strong arm is worth the hassle anymore.

As someone who has been using it since EA, I get what you're saying. At first, I thought I had missed the "headshot," but then he stood up quickly again, and again, and... By the gods, they've nerfed my Strong Arm!! However, I did notice that the push seems stronger now. They get knocked back farther after the hit than before this update. So, I guess it's not completely ruined. They also buffed Smash significantly. You can bash through coop doors now. Crazy.

Yeah after this update strong arm got swapped with smash.

I used smash almost all the time. But doing coop doors solo sounds a bit op. x)

Haven't tried the new Strong Arm nerf yet, but you could still try to make Grunts knocked down by using Stun Rig and throw bottle or brick at them (with or without Strong Arm) during their recovery animation.

So far, that technique still has that old SA long knock down animation and its weird that is no longer applied on the amp now.

strong arm still works perfectly fine for me. can brick a guy and he sits there struggling forever just like last week and the week before that.

Facts, I never used it for grunts or prime assets

It is not like last week, there is also nothing wrong with the change implemented. However, the grunts get up quicker and I noticed the animation is tweaked slightly when they fall down/collapse as according to Wemer.

Govern the fact Strong arm was stunning ex pops longer than stun rig by far i can understand the nerf , but what I do not understand is nerfing in a game with no pvp . Not like the game is competitive what so ever . I mean this game is actually easy overall So I guess more nerfs would make it harder .:happy_seagull:
They also nerfed a brick monsters gets up now right away it only give you around 2 second escape from grabbing

Even in a game with pve alone it can be quite boring to only have like 1-2 options out of 10. That's especially annoying for the escalation therapy, where it's just all about trying to get the same 3 amps every single time as fast as possible. Picking anything else feels like you're just wasting tons of potential for something you'll swap out in a few trials anyway.

It's more than just balancing, the game is made boring asf if you're able to completely counter the common grunts with one amp. Sure I could simply "not equip it" but I dont dictate what my teammates want to use and since this game is cooperative, having one teammate stomp out a whole class of enemy is dull.

strong arm is not worth, and they are not balancing the game with that changed. they should atleast give couple more seconds. without the strong arm, you can throw the expop twice which is the same stun time as strong arm.
if you know how to delay abit, yea, it is way more longer stun time without equip it.
if they wants to balance the game, the shouldn't buff smash that hard. what is a real balanced? means no meta. they should start upgrade other trash amps into something useful. not nerf it so hard and then give the other so strong.

before they changed, smash is already good tier as strong arm. player will actually considered to switch both side depends on what trials. but now? nah, smash all the way lol.

Strong arm stuned normal Ex-pop "Giants not included" longer than the stun rig did . So only makes sense that they did . I used to run stun rig and strong arm and use bricks on small fries and stun on big was a great combo ! sadly with this nerf I just run back healing and smasher because I am tired of using everything that is popular because it gets nerfed once its too popular . :sad_seagull:
