What do you have to say for yourself?
But how would game detect this? It's tough to execute it. A player could be lost and it'll look like they're blocking progress.
Trolling objectives/having a teammate take their sweet time needs a separate solution. I have had quite a few situations where a teammate picks up a key that is needed for opening a gate and takes painfully long to use it. I think a timer on holding necessary objectives should be implemented as well. Maybe after 2.5 minutes the objective is dropped on the ground and there is a 30-60 second cooldown for that player to pick it up again, allowing other players to locate and pick it up if needed. A cooldown on folks putting down and picking up objectives wouldn't hurt either, something like 2 seconds or so, enough to prevent intentional trolling. I think the increased incentive to complete these objectives rather than messing around/finding the secret room while holding onto necessary objectives would be healthy for the game. Find a key? Put it in the gate asap. Troll wants to waste time? Well this would remove their ability to soft-lock the trial. Still can kick them after or leave the group when the trial ends.
I don't think either of these solutions would ruin the game, but I'll admit there would likely be circumstances in which it would be annoying, but then again, if I can tell I'm playing with trolls my only solution now is to leave the trial since they have the power to soft-lock trials. Leading enemies and interfering with chases is annoying, but I don't see a solution that could fix that, apart from the report button.
it is not anybody's fault that your parents didn't give you enough attention growing up...let players enjoy the game or ♥♥♥♥ off.
And yes...banning should be enforced - no online play extending from days, month if the behaviour continues from the player responsible.
1st strike: One Week
2nd strike: One Month
3rd Strike: Permanent Ban (Edit: I changed my mind - nobody gets perma banned)
If you cannot play with people then play by yourself
