Are you really mostly just play the game to look at the program order? Like how can such a small change ruin the whole game for you?
It's not just that... but I already saw your casual comments defending the change so I won't waste my time with you. ZzzZZzZzZ...
I'm speaking as someone with OCD. The new change truly is pretty awful, before there was a progression like system. You start with the first trial series until finish and then moved onto the next. That's at least the way I did it as both a new and even up until now. It was organized so that different programs were set into those programs. The way it is now ruins that. There isn't 'progression' and I've read your complaint before about Program X being the same stuff over and over. They basically turned the entire series into that. It's the same trials now just smashed into one program, which doesn't make it easier, it just creates less progression. I honestly found it better before to learn each of the trials by having to go through their program series one at a time.
This? This shoves it all into one and at the very least does not give enough trials between each to properly learn them. They're just jammed packed all into one, and ruins the rebirth process imo.
Now theres no progression. Theres nothing to work towards beyond rewards you get from levels. You do the same thing over and over instead of progressing towards Program X.
I'm proud of myself for getting a perfect score in one of the trials and now it's been stolen from me. Best update ever
What progression are you even talking about?
Previously you've played a Trial and 2-4 MK-Challenges, maybe the strangely hard Trial not meant for beginners, put there on display in a way that made beginners believe that it's supposed to be played at the beginning and then proceeded to the next map to do the same.
Now you as well have a Trial, 2 MK-Challenges and then you're proceeding to the next trial. Since it doesn't make sense to make beginners play hard maps, that got moved to Program X, but overall, the progression is still like mostly the same as before, especially regarding how you learn about the different maps and map stories.
And lets be real, beginners will just jump in, do all the Trials and Challenges in a row and then be confused, when veterans try to tell them, that they've not done anything relevant yet or don't know, what this game is about (despite having seen like every single bit of story that the game offers outside of Documents). It's truly no surprise, that it's only people with dozens, if not hundreds of hours complain about such a small change.
Well, you could've made some screenshots, if it is so important to you. Though i've good news for you: You can achieve perfect scores again and it should even be easier now.
ye stupid update
after 200 hour and 20 solo reborn i just want try out the new map but now i need to play everything to try out the new map
program x is a joke now , just finished the sabotage the lockdown and there is only Coyle in the end no ex pop no big grunt....there is nothing
and i dont know if i finish the whole ONE mission thing then its gonna be reset ? or i can play the new map non stop ?
on top of that you no longer have to repeat the same. exact. order. of. trials. in. a. row. to rebirth, you can play whatever missions you want, which leads to a more fun grind where you can choose what you want to do either by yourself or with friends.
and encourages playing with randoms since no matter what you will be grinding your rebirths you can just play casually and not feel like you are wasting time by playing anything but what program X used to be.
personally I think this new system is actually genuinely a way better way of going about it.
the only people who would dislike it are those who whine that they cant speedrun 500 rebirths anymore. when like MAX you need is 100 for the trophy otherwise like 7 for all the outfits, so this is a non complaint imo from picky people.
each trial gives a unique reward for getting A+ on it, ontop of that the 3 programs each contain multiple unique trials not found in other programs (they arent just the same thing 3x but harder), AND they get harder program to program on top of that.
the only point I agree on here, is that it was more ocd compliant to have the trials organized by map instead of as a sequence of things in a single program with multiple maps.
