i hate the grading system
i just want to leave a trial the moment i take damage or lose sanity because i know i can't get a+ at that point. this is awful for a game that encourages co-operative play.

Do more positive things for every mistake you make.

Like Brew said you can still get A+ and take damage

I have sometimes taken 6x damage and got A+

Easiest way to get A+ if you take damage, is to hit enemies with bricks/bottles multiple times. That usually evens out the rating as long as you don't take too many hits.

You can offset damage with some positive actions such as collecting posters (you picking them up specifically), using bricks/bottles correctly, helping friends when they are incapacitated or dead, doing co-op actions such as those doors that require two people to break and using items (use every battery you find etc). I've managed to pull A+ despite taking a fair bit of damage sometimes.

Interesting I actually did not know that. In my logic you have more skill if you do not use batteries, so I always use everything as little as possible. xD
EDIT: I have only ever looked at the red marks at the end of the trial.

More skill if not using batteries? Interesting concept.

If you're having problems dodging enemies watch my movement video, it's on my profile. I have a whole section that goes over the AI and how you can easily dodge/exploit their movements. It might help you out.

you're literally describing a skill issue, stop complaining. take your time through trials and get better.

Not per se just batteries, I mean items in trials as such. If you can do the trial without using any items and least possible engagement with enemies and in a shorter time, then that is more skillful then having to use all kind of anti psychosis things and throwing around bottles.

I saw someone on Reddit once die on solo, respawn and get an A+. Just collect posters, throw bottles and bricks at people, BRING SLIPPERS AMP, disarms door traps, and do co-op actions if possible. (And also practice the maps)
if you help people up/revive them it cancels it. i once got hit like 5 times but i helped people so got A+. (need side objectives too obviously)

You sound young. A young player like yourself can't try to get an A+? All you have to do is try to not step on sound traps like broken glass and crouch under aluminum cans that hang. Also try not to get hit. It's challenging sure, and can be a pain, but it isn't too bad.

I'm 27. leave the youngsters alone most of them are really good at video games in my experience.
