Our goal is to exit Early Access in sync with the console release set for March 5th, 2024 accompanied by a new Trial in Toy Factory, new MK challenges, additional cosmetics, and amps, among other surprises. The progression level cap will also be raised. This marks just the beginning of an extensive journey for all Reagents and Reborns once the full release occurs.
Future Plans
We know you’ve all been asking, and we're meticulously crafting a roadmap for post-release content. Alongside the release of new Trials, MK-Challenges, Events, Enemies, Amps, and Rigs, we're keen on experimenting with unique twists and game modes, as well as new reward systems. The Outlast Trials is a live game and we are molding its future live-ops and features with our players at heart.
Stay tuned for more updates!
The Red Barrels Team
I think you guys need to revise the idea of MK Challenges, they become repetitive incredibly quickly and honestly thought this was a placeholder until some better system is in place.
I know it’s been said you’re not looking into procedural generation as it would remove the “Outlast” feel, but everything quickly becomes a mind numbing process of repetition.
With a live service game you want to iron out replayability before launching new gamemodes, otherwise it’s like that christmas present you get as a kid which you play with for 5 minutes and forget about it.
I don’t think that’s what you want your game to be.
(I have 60 hours gametime on Epic, not Steam)
Once you got everything out of it you will have free time to do other things in life.
I’m providing constructive criticism on what I believe would make the game better, which might be true or not.
What I do with my life is none of your business.
What I was trying to say is that there is always so little time to do everything you want that sometimes it can be a blessing that there is not enough content because then you can do some other games or watch some stuff you been trying to watch but did not have time for.
- 3x more enemies on the map event
- New Enemy that can place fresh traps around the map that you need to hit with brick or they will keep making more traps
What can be a blessing for you can be bad for someone else, you're still giving unsolicited advice, leave people be, ♥♥♥♥ off and thank you.
Reread things and realize this is not the point of the discussion in any way and you're the one that brings it there for no reason, enough.
Winter cold appeared every 2 minutes, I even put a timer in steam. And, by the way, you can survive it even without shelter with a bottle of health and fully charged equipment.
5 minutes is a lot for Psychosis Gas:) well, I'll believe you, since I haven't played such a challenge) It's great. It's not too heavy. On the contrary, I noticed that under spraying the enemy with Psychosis Gas it's better to get hit because at that moment you speed up and other enemies don't attack you, which is a lot of fun :)))) If you run all the time, the effect will wear off anyway and you won't lose much health. The other thing is that I don't know about the weekly psychosis challenge, but I don't think it's hard :))) it's a lot of fun:)
