I still enjoy this game and thought that I was going to play this everyday after launch, but nope.. I played about 30 hours from the launch on May 18th till May 23rd and stopped playing until recently. I can't wait for the day in which you can play as the enemy to complete a trial! add in some new currency for winning as the enemy and... yeah. that probably isn't going to happen, but eh.. it is what it is.
Can't wait for Outlast 3 too, which they should probably have a tease sometime in 2024. it'll be interesting to see if they implement some multiplayer feature with this game being a sort of test. not a forced thing mind you but a separate mode altogether.
shouldnt take you longer than 10 minutes max to get 2 tickets.
I think the issue a lot of people have is that it is an 8-15 hour grind of really short, easy, and highly repetitive gameplay.
It's not that people can't do the grind. It's more that a majority of the less die-hard fans DON'T want to burn themselves out doing something so tedious and, honestly, boring.
I was really hoping for something more engaging and fun after 6 months of practically nothing but a majority of the NEW content can be beaten in a day. It feels like this halloween program was purposefully made grind-y to extend the updates play-time.
now that I grinded out the geister tokens i no longer ever want to play any of the trials in that program again.
I had a friend who wanted to grind them with me and I said no lmao. and I AM a die hard fan.
Im hoping the weekly programs come with some more fleshed out changes to the game, and maybe a winter event to satisfy those who ran through this one really quickly and wanted more.
You're acting like its absurd to want to get everything from a limited time event. What are you on about? Silly guy, there's only about 50ish items (most of which are player icons) to get but they're locked behind 10-15 hours of repetitive grind.
It's like they put zero thought into it
But the majority of the rest are legitimately pretty nice. But the fact that they don't respect our time, or had enough forethought to realize that this grind is going to cause burnout, AND make people ignore the new map, by making this such a huge time investment, is some pretty poor thinking on their part. Plus the way it's designed, with random unlocks, even if you just wanted one or two in particular, depending on the luck off the draw, it STILL might take you 50+ tries. I really hope this isn't how future events are going to go
