Game needs more maps

This game is really fun but it needs more maps, grinding the same trials over and over with slight objective changes is dull and no one wants that. Some of the original areas from Outlast 1&2 would be great additions IE: the Dark Sewers with Chris chasing you and the Raining Blood Mill from Outlast 2. I don't care for new outfits and mini games I want more places to explore with friends and new monsters

I think the maps are fine, the problem is how easy they are to speedrun. I want them to be longer and harder so that it takes more time to clear them.

I think the exam should be a longer more complex version of the main trial. more obstacles different layout etc. less speedrunnable.

This game is set before the mainline games so they couldn't have Chris etc but they could probably do a mount massive asylum map which would be amazing.

well theres 5 maps teased in the beta, the last one we havent seen in-game being the toy factory. its been featured in the gamescom 2021 trailer btw

That's the biggest issue. I hope we don't have to wait ages again for a sizeable content release.

Store page has screenshot of a map, that isnt in a game. I am afraid they might be drip feeding us content already made.

More maps are indeed needed, but i feel what we really need are more enemies and modifiers to spice things up. The "halloween" missions dont really add much variety in the modifiers department

Good luck with that. Tipically, games on EA add content every once in a while so dont expect a new map any time soon altough i hope for a new one this christmas. I love the game but hate devs launch the game in EA

i mean devs have pretty much confirmed on recent podcast that it comes out of early access next update along with console launch so we are getting a new map sometime in march-april
