I honestly bought this when it was on sale with Epic with the intent to play a bit and refund, because I didn't think i'd probably like it. I get really bored with Dead by Daylight because of the simplistic mechanics and regardless of theme, you're still doing the same thing over and over. However I ended up loving this. Turns out i'm just not a fan of asymmetrical multiplayer, at all. I think it takes the entire horror, and fear aspect out of it, and makes it feel more like a competitive sport. When it's a shared co op experience like this is, it feels much more like an actual horror experience, and I really love it (and the unique different objectives helps as well), so now i'm in a conundrum because i've progressed pretty far, but none of my friends that own this have it on Epic :(
Guess i'll wait until launch, and if they don't offer an option for cross progression, I guess i'll probably, begrudgingly start over :(
Crap, lol, it's a dilemma. In hindsight i never should have bought it on Epic
