YMMV in outlast trials but you can solo if you want, starship troopers i cannot speak for yet.
but the thing is they are both entirely different games so you can't compare really
I will say in terms of performance and content Outlast Trials has Starship Troopers beat. Starship has some of the worst performance I have seen, but its fun enough to ignore these flaws.
Starship troopers has 2 game modes with only 2 maps, so the game gets repetitive a lot faster.
Starship easier to play online with than Outlast. Since its a 16 co-op PVE its really easy to get in a game and work with people. You wont feel isolated without a mic like Outlast.
Outlast feels like a more complete game. If starship developers claimed the game was still in beta I would 100% believe.
I have about the same amount of time in each game. I find starship good for mindless fun while Outlast is something I play to relax with friends.
