Bricks vs Bottles

For those who haven't had a chance to experiment bricks can be picked back up and used multiple times but can't be used to create a distraction from stealth other then hitting someone with it.
Bottles on the other hand are one time use and can be used as a distraction from stealth.

Bottles can also stun BUT it has to be a headshot and it seems like they don't have the ability to cancel attack animations unlike the brick

I'd rather carry a brick since I can use it to disarm multiple traps.

I prefer bricks. The bottle's distraction is nice but I feel like the enemy's hearing range is too short for it to matter.

Bricks also don't seem to stun as long as a bottle.

I use the perk that makes them hit enemies harder and pretty much only pick up bottles and bricks, and will replace bottles with bricks if I see them. Never throw them as distraction.

Bricks destroy traps, stun enemies attacking you, have a minimum of 2 uses, and are even better with Amp. Bricks can also be used as a distraction via destroying traps near enemies such as the explosive traps. Bottles can stun enemies, and can be made even louder to distract enemies further away. However I find it too common for a bottle to hit a hitbox of something not where you are aiming, usually right in front of you, and now you are leading enemies to your location, and wasted the bottle.

Likewise distracting enemies with bottles is only really useful against blind enemies.
