Option to disable gore?

Outlast 1 and 2 were nowhere near as brutal as this game. Sometimes it can be seriously a bit too much. Can we maybe get a toggleable option to disable the gore in this game?

I think that would be excessive. It's not spam, it's just an opinion/feedback he has.
Asking to ban him for Spam is as unreasonable as asking for a "turn off gore" function ;)

No it's actually a pattern of behavior. He's making a bad faith argument in attempt at trolling. He's attempting to toe the line of what should be acceptable, while still being wholly tongue in cheek about it. Someone really concerned about the gore in this game wouldn't have 80+ hours within a week.

I got banned for 1 day because I made a few off-topic joke threads about fruit salad or whatever. I have learned my lesson and I will not be making those anymore.

That being said, you are being completely off-topic with your replies about that previous ban. I am genuinely trying to have a conversation about the possibility of such a feature because I have a lot of friends who are very sensitive to gore and I want to play the game with them.

I just wanted to know from the community if they maybe feel the same about a feature like this. But I guess not.

honestly outside of the general body mutilation, police station shuttle cutscenes and coyle blowing up a mans head, trials is pretty weak in comparison to outlast 1 and 2

i don't know exactly what you would "toggle off" other than just disabling the shuttle scenes (which should be a thing anyway because of how repetitive they are) but you can just look away from a majority of the scripted ♥♥♥♥

Maybe it has been too long ago since I last played Outlast 1 and 2 and I'm wrong. But some of the mutilation actions you can see in this game (like the children in trial 2 mutilating several corpses) just seem a bit extreme to me. Also the "interactive mutilation" in trial 3 plus the additional blood shower was pretty grotesque.
