Massive frame drop

the game was working fine. but Yesterday I updated my Nvidia graphic driver and since then im experiencing some huge frame drops. it just happens for no reason. one minute it runs smoothly the next frame drops to 10. whats giong on? anybody has this Issue?

I also experienced this last night while playing with friends. Normally I'm getting an average of 70 fps playing (Nvidia 2070ti) but I would about half a dozen times my frames would tank to 10 fps and the game would just chug for 60 seconds or so. Every single time I was doing something different so I don't think it was an issue of like too many effects or anything.

This was happening to me after completing a few trials and would stop after I completely closed the game. It wasn't enough just to stop playing it though I'd have to close it from Task Manager or it'd keep running in the background...

Nvidia 2070 msi edition, i5 13th series 16 gb ram, avarage 130 fps, and i get like 35fps

or everything on low
if it doesn't work please record your game with the framedrops and report it to the devs on their discord

Actually I dont wanna lower the settings cuz It was working fine with everything set to the Maximum . and I have a descent rig. 3070 ti. Also the driver is not an issue cuz all the other games are working fine. I think devs are the ones to blame.

I'm also experiencing the same thing with the same update so I assume it's the driver.

it's the issue with newest nvidia driver, already reported that on their discord.

then report the bug in their discord so they can fix it ^^

check your graphics settings. i updated my graphics card and it turned on 4k and raytracing so i'd check that. dropped my frames from 200 to like 30fps

multiple ppl told me not to do the latest nvidia update, it sounds like thats prob ur problem :/ i hope they put out another soon or you can rollback (if thats a thing, im not smart enough in that dept.)

my problem isnt the drivers it just changed my settings in the update and i reverted them now it works fine

thanks man, u were right, ray tracing had been enabled. i disabled it and things went back to normal.

thanks man, u were right, ray tracing had been enabled. i disabled it and things went back to normal.

mine did that day 1 with rt on i honestly cant even tell a difference with rt on anyway and i love rt i only tried police station but it would drop to 20 and hang said f it and turned it off. 3070 5800x
